  • New GC2 setup

Hey just want to make sure I didn't miss anything I need here. I am currently redoing my entire sim setup in the garage from protee to GC2.

Just ordered a GC2 with FSX
5x5 GORILLA Perfect ReACTION Golf Mat
    10x15 putting mat
    bluetooth dongle with extension cable

    I already have-
    Projector
    Ipad
    Side and top netting
    Impact screen
    PC with TGC
    Ball mat

and probably the most important for michigan two radiant kerosene heaters

If I missed anything I need please let me know. I think everything is covered hardware wise.

Make sure the heaters are vented outside and get some music in there. Lol

Ryan, I'm also in Michigan and this fall I installed a 220 electric heater to avoid the fumes and carbon monoxide. It's been working quite well. As you know yesterday was quite cold and Last night I went out there turned it on about 15mins before I started and it got it to upper 40's and when I finished it was low 60's about an hour later. Might be another option for you. Good luck with the new setup.

Besides a slight kerosene smell my heaters work very well. Use the tornado heater for 20 Mins to get it up to 60-70 degrees. Then the two radiant heaters can keep the temp up to almost 80 when it's 10 outside.

I just have a carbon monoxide monitor out there just in case to be safe.

Looked into natural gas and electric but the finished basement made that impossible for dYI.

I sure my neighbors also love 4 guys golfing to heavy metal while not really knowing what's going on.

Surprisingly it doesn't even register on the Co2 detector out there. It probably helps my garage door is not sealed the greatest and there is very little insulation out there.
        Working...
