HOW TO PLAY
From the main menu select PLAY-> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

Did I read the 58 correctly - 9 chip ins? No GIR but made birdie 9 times?

I think those are shots hit inside gimme range? Pretty sure tkotts is a helluva ball striker.

Got ya that makes sense for a 58 but a very strange way it is recorded.

That is a small flaw in the system. GIR don't count when your approach is within gimme. Just like gimme's don't count as putts. Hopefully everything is more clear in TGC2

Had 1 rewind today. It was at very beginning of round and I hit 2 practice drives while in the Menu screen to warm up. Once I come out of the menu screen it said I was hitting the 2nd shot from tee box. So.....I take it everyone else knows not to hit any practice shots in the menu screen before round? Lesson learned

That is a good point. When shot recording first started, more than a few of us used the first hole as warm up. A couple of 30 yard chips, a couple of 9 irons followed by a few 7 irons..... and finally 5 or 6 drives. These all show up in shot recording. Ooops! .
