    Shot Recording and Tour Gimmie Settings

    Guys, I hate to have to bring this up yet again but come on. In order to play on this tour you need to follow the rules. The rules for every tournament are as follows:

    Gimme : within 2 yards / 1.8 meters
    -the setting for this is done by going in to settings and setting GIMMIE RULE TO GIMMIE
    -FYI, if you set it to DISTANCE and Set GIMMIE +1 and 15 yards I CAN TELL. That's Cheating!!!

    Wind: OFF

    Green Grid : ON

    Boost: +/- 5% maximum on club settings
    -If you set your driver to boost 50% I CAN TELL. That's cheating!!!

    YOU MUST HAVE SHOT RECORDING ON. The following do not have it on. Please PM me as to why not. A few are new so get it done please. Instructions below.

    Shot Recording is a Tournament feature. In order to use shot recording you must have a tournament user profile. Play at least 1 live tournament event or official Q

            Yes. ProTee is closed this week. It turns out some guys have TGC and are not on this forum. They stumbled onto the tournament within the game and are playing with 50 gimmies. All of their scores will be deleted. They had no idea there were rules. They aren't on this forum. We will be deleting any scores that do not have shot recording turned on.

              it doesn't seem like custom text can be included on the tournament screen inside of tgc, but maybe protee can slip a custom graphic on that screen somehow and use it to post the rules?

                Licenses are transferred via email. They have contacts. It'll be taken care of.

                  Finally signed up for forum. Long time lurker. Thanks for all the help getting my system together. Played some tournaments last year and got a late start this year. Turned on shot recording in TGC settings last tournament and thought that would cover it. Didn't care to see the data myself. I now entered into profile so please let me know if I have missed anything. I am fairly certain my settings are all correct for the tournament play and my GC2 doesn't misread very often. Have not had any rewinds for last few tournaments. Feel free to kick me out if I deserve it. It is just fun to compete and I haven't figured out how I can spend my winnings.

                  And thanks to everyone who makes this happen! Thought I would use simulator to work on swing and now I just play tournaments and practice rounds. Much more fun.

                    I also love practicing for the next event. Alan.... you want to make sure that your username is the same on the forum as it is on the tour site. I didn't see " The Alan " on the tour site. You also need to have your TGC user id in your profile. This will not show up to anyone viewing your profile. PM protee if you need help setting up shot recording. You are right, tournaments are a blast.

                    There are a few players that are not putting. 15 yard gimmies are not allowed. Please set your gimmie to "Gimmie. 2 yards. Please play on an equal playing field with your fellow golfers. Putting is fantastic on TGC once you get used to it. Putting is a requirement for the tour. If anyone has any questions about any of the listed rules..... please ask. You may PM myself, Mthunt, or Bubba22 Or post your questions on the forum. We do allow a bit of a grace period for new players to absorb all the rules.

                      The guys auotputting aren't on the forum. The scores will be deleted. I wonder if we can make tournaments private so people don't enter without knowing the rules. I'll check.

                    I'm confused. Turned mine "on" before playing any tour rounds......just double checked, says "on" in SkyTrak interface. ??

                    May have found issue? TGC online username didn't match forum name? Shot recording was on but different name set?

                      You also need to put your TGC user id # in your profile on this site. Your id # can be found in your setup file. Before starting TGC , stop server, click on settings.... this will bring up a notepad file. Your user id will look like xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx Copy and paste it into your profile on this site and you should be good to go. The notepad file is also where you can adjust your green settings to more closely match your local courses.
