Here is a short vid of golf sim guys new Skytrak turntable mat and Protee turf top. The Protee turf top has a metal base with plexiglass over the sensor areas. There is gel between the metal base and turf. We will ask for testers on both shortly.

Very interesting. Is there something built in that ensures that it starts and stops and the same spot each time? I know GC2, Skytrak and others need to be lined up correctly to ensure accuracy, will it always lock at a giving setting or does the unit need realligned after it is rotated?
That is a slick way to solve a problem many people have. My brother is a lefty so I haven't looked at units like skytrak because of that issue.

I would love to test the Protee top. The problem I have always had is that the moment you cover the sensors with plexiglass, you affect the way the audio picks up putts. Even by tweaking the audio settings, it is hard to get the sensor to pick up a slightly hit putt.....but I hope it works.........

Hope it works, if you like I can send you the one I bought from Custom Design Golf. They too added a opening over the mic but it did not help. Here is the link where we discussed it at length.
I just installed the polycarbonate sheets between the sensors and grass mats on all of my sims. Initial tests shows it working very well so far. They're very
If you get it working, I would be in line for it.

Who makes the turntable mat?? How much?
I have been wanting something like this ever since I purchased the SkyTrak!!!!! I am a lefty and all my golfing buddies are righties......nearly impossible to play TGC moving the unit back and forth and trying to keep the aiming point somewhat consistent. This could be the ticket!
Wasn't completely sold on "Position Track" and hoping to find something a tad less expensive.Last edited by DougieMn; 01-29-2017, 05:59 PM.

HI Dan
Yes they are ready for purchase. Sorry, we are busy as usual and haven't built listings for them yet. Please note that we only have mats for the Skytrak. We are waiting on rubber for the GC2 turntable. The difference is that the GC2 turntable will not have a replaceable hitting area as the ball position is much further away from the turntable. In fact, for the GC2 the whole mat will be Tee line turf and therefore will be more expensive.
Please call Kevin tomorrow at 1 833 GOLF FAN and he will sell you a turntable mat.
Regards
