Hi all,
Bit of a UK question really.
My current archery screen has finally given up the ghost to a point where struck balls are actually going through the hole at the impact area thats held together by about 3 threads of material. Ive already turned it once so thats not an option this time. And to be fair, Ive had it for almost 4 years.
My setup only allows 7ft between ball and screen, but the good news is that I only have a clubhead speed of, I think my max is 96. Think my ball speed is usually around 135 - based on my OG Skytrak.
I would like to progress to a better screen, but am a bit wary that being so close to the screen will result in the higher def screens being somewhat short lived. The archery net I have is a basic one and I believe there are better knitted ones available - I only have 1080 anyway.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent screen/archery net that would be quite durable.
I currently use a black sheet behind the net, with an old mattress cover behind that. All pretty much hand directly behind each other from a beam. It might not be right but I feel as though putting the black sheet between the screen and the mattress cover, while making the picture better seems to have accelerated the wear on the net, compared to when it wasnt there. I might just be imagining this though.
Im based in the UK so any recommendations would need to be available here.
Oh, and size would need to be 3.2m (w) x 2.4m (h)
Thanks for any help
Billy
