  • Benq TK700sti vs TK 710 sti vs Great high lumen 1080p projector

A typical dilemma. It is a smaller screen 9 ft X 10.5 ft. Therefore I have to probably be at a 4/3 ratio. Does it makes more sense to get a higher lumen good 1080 P projecter or 1 of the Benqs . I have read that the 710 is clearly better but is it that much different. I can purchase a 700 used for $800 dollars. If there is not much of a difference I may simply go that route. If there is a different projects her that you strongly recommend please let me know. I want a beautiful picture I just do not want to waste money on a 2500 dollar protector that will not show any more clarity on a small 4/3 screen. Thank you for your time

I’m dealing with the same issue. Carl’s recommendation for my room is the Benq Tk710sti but it’s $2K and unavailable from Carl’s until November.

I have to believe there’s a comparable projector out there for under $2K but which one? I personally ‘prefer’ to walk into a local brick & mortar store, like Best Buy’s, to purchase because returns & issues are easier to deal with in person…
