    GC2/GSPro Setup Using USB Cable

    All things crossed that there's some gurus here that can help me with a step by step on how to connect my GC2 with GSPRO using a USB cable. I've recently acquired a GC2 and purchased GSPRO. I've downloaded the GC2 drivers as instructed on https://help.foresightsports.com/hc/...Firmware-Steps. When opening GSPRO I'm given the following options, "Simple control", "Open control (legacy)", "Open API". After trying each option, I'm not able connect or even see any sign of the launch monitor. Do I need some middleware here and if so what should I use? Any help would be appreciated!

    I’ve only connected with Bluetooth and it picks it up everytime. Can you use that instead of the cable? I use the simple control.

      Thanks for the quick response! After further research,
      I’ve ordered a asus BT400 which should arrive tmz. What racks my brain is, why would BT be more effective than hardwire..

        Not sure, maybe the connection only captures Bluetooth data and not a direct input from a usb connection

          How to run GSPro on a GC2 with USB:
          Step 1: Launch GSPro and Select “Open Control” on Open Connect
          Step 2: Launch GSPro by hitting “Play”
          Step 3: Open GC2_to_TGC ProTee interface button will light green then click Connect USB and it’ll turn green
          (windows key and D will get you to your desktop to get to the file and ALT-TAB back)
          Both are green and you go back to GSPro and play. If you don’t do it in that order it won’t work.

          Here’s the file if you want it. Make sure you install the MSI first.

          For the GC2, which GsPro subscription do you buy...the foresight one or one of the Open API versions?

              The options im seeing are uneekor--flightscope--foresight/bushnell--full swing kit--protee vx(Open API)--golfin idra(Open API)--and other (open API) ...would the Other Open API be the simple

                this was why i was concerned about using the foresight option......from gspro site......GC3, GCQuad, GCHawk, or Launch Pro (Gold only) launch monitors. *GC2 not supported.​

                  I'm fairly sure GSPro can only be linked to GC2 via Bluetooth? USB doesnt work?

                  I'd be happy to be proven wrong though..

                    mthunt knows much more than me though, I'm going to try this in the morning.
                    I've been struggling to get Bluetooth to stay connected, so I'd be really happy to be able to use it via USB

                      USB works fine. I’ve done it lots of times.

                        I bought the "Other Open API" version ,instead of foresight version ,from Gspro and easy setup with bluetooth using mthunt instructions above...

                          This thread has been super helpful. I have been struggling to get my GC2 to connect to my computer via bluetooth so I always use the USB cable which isn't a problem when running FSX or FSX Play. I've been hesitant to get GS Pro despite everyone raving about it because all threads and instructions I've seen talk about having to connect via bluetooth

                            I've no problems running a GC2 to both GSPro and TGC with USB.

                          Ehat is the order you connect GC2 to GSPRO with USB? Do you turn on and plug in GC2 then open and run GSPRO, select Open Legacy and it runs? I use to not have to choose anything and have even tried the steps where else a TCG to connector but now I can't connect at all and says USB unrecognized no matter which of the 7 USB Ports I try
