Are you really interested in buying one of their units? If so you may want to read up on their others devices first, it may save you a headache and lots of coin.
I don't think anyone really knows when it will release and ship, their last product was delayed several times and after it came out it had a lot of issues (and still does to this day). I'm with wbond, you should probably look into their previous products, they don't exactly have a good track record
I haven't seen anything other than the case being shown off so far, and as far as you can tell that could be empty, nothing being shown on what it will or will not do. Also if you go to their web site and click on "Product" and then "Product Comparison" there is nothing on it about the ES 20/20 and nothing on it in "SHOP" either. In the video on it from the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show, it was said it would all be complete and done on the 22 of February and start shipping on March first, but if you check out this form and their advertisements on previous products you will see what they say doesn't always add up to what you get.
I have read most of the posts about Ernest Sports on here and the challenges with the ES16 have been hashed, re-hashed and double re-hashed (Thank you BGCurtis2nd!). From all accounts, the ES12 and ES14 were well received, and maybe the ES16 fell short of the mark (ie. Coke New Formula)......BUT, for measured club data at a savings of $8k over GCQuad, I for one, have to at least consider it as an option. It will simply be up to Ernest Sports to perform...
FYI, I called and Ernest Sports said that they are on track for shipping the first ES 20/20 units at the end of the month.
If you want it buy it, more power to you, and I truthfully hope it works for you. The ES-16 didn't just fall short of the mark, it came no where near the mark or anywhere in it's neighborhood. What it was suppose to do when I was sold the ES-16 and what it did were no where close, I worked with Ernest Sports for over a year trying to help get the ES-16 to do what was said it would do when I first got it. I am out time and money and have a golf sim's room that would need about $3000.00 worth of modifications just for me to get back to where I was before I got the ES-16 or to setup another system to use. I spent $6,950.00 with Ernest Sports so I would have a system to play on, just hope you fair better than me. So far all the claims of what the ES 20/20 will do, are the very same claims of what that the ES-16 was suppose to do when I bought mine. As far as savings, I was told to look at how much it would cost to buy a GC2 with a HMT, and that the ES-16 would preform just as well or better, it would cost me about the same to buy one now as it would have back then so for me I don't see that I have save a single dime and have had to put up with a lot of aggravation on top of it all. So don't feel I am telling not to buy it because I am not you do what you want to do, but if you should find yourself in the same boat as me and others have, don't say you were not warned.

You walk to the cubicle down the hall from you to ask the shipping manger? Just kidding! Seriously though, if you spent 4 times as much as a skytrak costed and 10 times the cost of the ES14 and your accuracy seemed to be the same as the ES14 (which you select the club for that to get distances which it appears is all the ES16 is which is a glorified es14), you would be warning everyone about it too.

Who do you see trolling? From all accounts ES12 and ES14 were well received...
If they ship at the end of this month I would be shocked as they have released basically nothing to show they have a functioning product.
Trolling, OK? From someone who has a total of 3 posts and just joined this month. I guess it begs the question, are you associated with them? Since you were new I suggested you look into their products so you at least have an idea of what their products have done/not done. To each their own on whether you believe the ES12 and 14 were that great.
Please get it and let us know how well it works out for you and whether you actually get what you're paying for. Should be an interesting read.
I get the feeling that if I got on here and commented that I had a dog named Ernest, that you clowns would jump in, high-jack the thread and tell me how bad my dog is because he has Ernest in his name. I hate to break it to you but not every product that a company makes is a home run.
I personally hope that the ES 20/20 is as advertised, because a launch monitor under $10k that runs simulation, works outdoors AND gives true club data would be good for everybody. I think that it would be better for all of us to cheer for less expensive golf technology. If the unit does not produce as advertised, you guys can give me a big "I told you so" and bash their products on here 'til the cows come home.
In the meantime, if you have a point to make that you haven't already detailed 100 times in every Ernest Sports topic on here, go for it.

As an aside, Stingreye (with an E), this may be the worst sentence ever constructed.
Welcome buddy! First we are trolls and now you are criticizing my sentences. It’s been a real pleasure to meet you too. Buy (with a B) the es 20 and let us know how great it it is. Hopefully, you have 20/20 vision going into this thing. Thanks GSSH (with a G)
Well good luck with the ES 20/20 and let us know how it works and GC2 is less than $10k and is proven also works outdoors and might be the best sim LM right now.
And do some research because back when I bought a GC2 there wasn't the wealth of info that there is today, and the guys on here are just trying to help, again good luck with ES 20/20.
GSSH:
I'm one of those individuals that is not dissatisfied with the ES 16 and I have been treated well by Ernest Sports. Still, I'm no where near satisfied with it either and I'm having more issues then normal with the one I have. The ES 16 is not easy to love due to accuracy and consistancy issue. Ernest Sport has generated a lot of hard feelings with the folks on this forum. Like you, almost all of us want them to be successful, but they have to start delivering and they have fallen short so far. I plan to continue to work with them.
I knew what I was getting into before I bought an ES 16. My eyes were wide open due the information on this forum. I like reasonable discussions based on objective data and subjective viewpoints, but in general I also appreciate the candid comments by those here.
All I can tell from this picture is that they have developed a pretty solid protective case for the device.
As for the trolling, all I can say is people are trying to help educate a new member here and you should be thanking them for their advice and letting know your thoughts as maybe these guys could help you be careful about your purchase. What I can see and tell from being someone on the outside looking in was that there were a bunch of guys who sounded just like you and were eager to give the device a try based on what was being promised and these guys chatted and debated the unit on over 100 pages of posts in the discussion (it was crazy how excited these people were and I don’t fault them for that); however, when you read what happened I can see why there is so much frustration.
For me, my advice is to not get the unit until you know they have something that works from independent testing.
I also think you might owe some guys here an apology anf if you are from the company or affiliated in any way with the company that you come out and disclose that, as someone has asked you if you are and is one question here that you did not bother to respond to.
