    R Motion Support ???

Rapsodo I have emailed, DMed via Instagram and Facebook, filled out two different types of forms via their website, and am now trying to contact Rapsodo via this forum to no avail. Does anyone have a direct line of communication they could recommend so that I could get in touch with them and fix my issue?

I received my R Motion on Friday and was excited to use the device in my backyard with my net. During my second time using it on sunday the clip must have broken and the device flew off the end of the club. I spent a lot of time looking for it the last few days and cannot seem to find it. It is not looking likely that I can find it at this point. Do you know if the device is magnetic? If so, I could try using a magnet to find it. If I can't find it could you guys send me a new device? This is upsetting as I was extremely excited to use this product in order to get my swing and ball flights dialed.

    Thanks,

Haven't tried to contact them in awhile but when I did I used support@rmotiongolf.com. They had always gotten back to me very quickly. I seems several people are now having some issues getting a hold of someone.

With the PGA show in a few weeks, I imagine that most OEMs are focusing their resources elsewhere. You might need to be extra patient for a week or two.

I've had two R-Motion sensors fly off the clips at the range (different days), and I was unable to locate them, even after searching with a metal detector. Fortunately, Rapsodo's customer service was excellent. They sent me TWO replacements, as well as a handful of extra clips.

Unfortunately, I'd like to see a revision of the clips with an additional retention mechanism. Friction alone isn't good enough.

I'm disappointed with my customer service experience with Rapsodo with the R-Motion too.

I got one for Christmas and it worked great right away and for the first hour, picking up all the same slice, path, and club face data I've seen from other places. As I was switching to another club it popped out and landed on my concrete floor, falling about 3 feet. After that, it read everything as a hook, push, very closed club face. I made all the suggested adjustments and it just didn't work like it did at first.

I emailed them all this on January 12, they responded on the 13th asking for an address to send a replacement unit and I responded within an hour. I was very pleased.
After that I didn't hear from them or receive anything for two weeks. I emailed them again on January 29 asking for an update and their response was there's no tracking number yet. I still haven't received or heard anything after 3 weeks after initial contact/response.

I'm most disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and details; and with the fact they're all over social media every day with cool new stuff they got going, which I read as "new customers are more important than current ones".

I really want this to work and have an affordable fun way to keep swinging during the winter here in northern Michigan. One of the reasons I thought this unit was what to ask for was all the great reviews from this forum about their customer service, but it seems as though it's not consistent or around any more. If I didn't want this so much, I'd be ready to ask for a refund, I'm almost there.

I'm going to send them this whole thing as an email and see what happens, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. Dang.

I agree and totally understand your frustration as the same thing has happened to me...I look at the price drop of 50% to $99 as the clue that they have given up on the product and are moving on. Even though it also has its faults if you are looking for a budget simulator in that price point, i really like the Optishot. I did a YouTube video on why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVjmZHYjTiI&t=4s

I own both Optishot and R Motion and in my opinion Optishot doesn't hold a candle to R Motion. R Motion is more accurate and the graphics are far and above Optishot. I had Optishot for about 6 months before R Motion. Since buying R Motion I haven't used Optishot once. I consider Optishot a game and R Motion a simulator.

The Optishot is a step down and a shot in the foot. We want the R-Motion to be updated to the newer software (So we can take it to the range UNLIKE the OptiErrorShot).

I think the company has given up on the R-Motion. They cut the price in half and are now integrating it with SkyTrak. Optishot club data has helped me improve but does have its faults, i agree.

Sent them this as an email. The next day I got this response:
"Thanks for reaching out to us! I would like to apologize for the inconvenience. I have received a tracking number for your shipping and it says "not found" on FedEx system. I am trying to solve this issue. I have added 3 extra clips to apologize. I will let you know the updates by the end of tomorrow.

If you have any further questions, please contact us!"

I never heard back from them, but the next day I got a FedEx notification about a shipment from them coming in. It arrived today and in the package was one sensor and two clips.

I'm still disappointed with my customer service experience.

But the product is great, using it today was a ton of fun and it was accurate.
