    TGC users,

Is the online play still just the realtime simultaneous play or have they added turn by turn online play?

    Thanks

To give you an idea, a typical Red Chain course designer will charge 1000's of dollars for his work on one or two courses. But some of those were done for free by hobbiest. Also, no real competition until now or very soon.

PP and HB will include easy to use course designing software/generators. And their markets are obviously bigger with consoles and PC. I'll bet we will all be pleasently surprised by the prices of the sim versions.

Yes, this is awesome for Protee 2.0 owners. No idea on the price yet, but I think the days of paying $2K for one course are over. :cheer:
That's great. Now we just need to break through the barrier of paying $2000 for Protee 2.0 for a $30 software product. If we thought Foresight was priced egregiously, I can't imagine anyone here could conceive of paying anywhere even close to that for TGC.

Is it too early to start speculating about the price HB will charge for the Protee/simulator version?

There are so many nice courses already out there, and the designers are getting better (yes, as I said there is a lot of crap also) The nice thing is the rating system, it lets you weed through the software generated courses that were made in 5 minutes with no love. The real gems are usually the courses from scratch that guys have poured 20 + hours into.

I may need to "soften" up my courses a bit if Protee does get integrated. Nothing drastic, maybe smooth a few greens and widen some fairways. TGC interface is so easy if played with a gamepad or mouse that -20 is routine. Naturally, designers tend to make their courses a bit tougher to create a challenge.
Yes, definitely widen those fairways a bit more for simulator use.

It means the official announcement might not be too far behind. I just hope the integration goes smooth and fast so it can be ready by the start of the upcoming Winter League.
