ProTee United I posed the question at the beginning of January but when will we find out if we are awarded with TGC 2019 as part of the free upgrade and if when we find out are we still able to purchase TGC 2019 at the GolfSimulatorForum.com 25% discount?

I think this topic has been posted and answered a bunch. Maybe this topic needs a sticky! Not disrespecting anyone asking.
2018/19 purchases until final release get the
These threads and asks should all be centralized since this topic recirculates and high-jacks all the threads!

Sorry. Can you point out where this has been answered? Users who purchased TGC prior to 2018 have had to apply for the free upgrade. It does not make sense for me to buy TGC 2019 if they give me a free upgrade. If they don't give me a free upgrade then I would like to buy it at the 25% discounted price however according to post #303 the link for the 25% discount has been taken down. This will cost me an extra $100 dollars.

I am in the same situation. I filled the form of application for free upgrade. My purchase of TGC was on 30 XII 2017, so 2 days before border line.
I would like to know if I have an option of discount in case of negative reply.

ProTee United Would love to see this make it out this month! Looks like it’s going to be great! Any estimate for a launch date yet?

Question and/or suggestion to Pro Tee United/TGC. Many of us play with local online play. Will there be an option on TGC 2019 for a subscription for buddies to buy and save their profiles, stats, etc.? If not, I think you guys are missing the boat as many of us play locally with friends that do not have a sim and want to save their info. Could be a big revenue generator for protee.

I think it's to do with the illusion of objects fading into the horizon. Or it's a shadow graphic truly. Big hit on performance

I don't have 2019, but this is a typical term from game engines (and TGC is built with Unity), and is definitely exactly what it says, shadows caused by fog. Turn it off, and fog lets all light through. Crank it up and it actually occludes light and causes shadows, realistically. It's very intense on the GPU, since the tiny little fog particles are each taken into consideration as the sun/fog move. It's like ray-tracing a million tiny objects vs none. Huge performance impact.

Not needed, but to speed up things we recommend you fill out the request so we have all your details ready and not have to look them up and check separately

I can't wait until 2019 is released. From the feedback I see on the alpha test thread, 2019 seems far superior to the old TGC. From the videos I have watched and pictures I have seen, 2019 looks incredible. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas day to arrive, hopefully 2019 will be released soon. I am sure ProTee United is working very hard on getting 2019 to beta. For now the old TGC is still a good sim and is fulfilling my winter golf needs!

ProTee United Can you confirm whether both the original TGC and TGC2019 can reside together on the same PC when released? I have read in the alpha pages that you can toggle between them somehow (I'm not an Alpha Tester but have the original TGC purchased in 2018). I've just bought myself a new laptop with an upgraded graphics card in anticipation of TGC2019 release and don't want to move the original version across if that will cause issues. I should be able to play TGC2019 on max settings in 4K - so looking forward to it.
