  • HB puts online lobby on back burner

Telling people to not use your software doesn't seem like a great business idea. Every company is going to have criticism it's the nature of the business. People paid alot of money for the software and I'm sure would like to see it work as advertised and improved for the good of the company and community. The community has done lots to bug test and promote the software even if you don't appreciate it or don't want the help. I would be thrilled that people are as passionate about a product to give feedback and ways to improve it even if some of it maybe more negative than others.

I feel the pain of you TGC users with the news of no online lobby (for now). I also understand that Protee is not in a position to demand these changes from HB Studios.

I imagine there is a contract in place with Protee/TGC that says Protee can sell their software as part of their product with a kickback to HB....That's it.

I don't know if there is any requirement for TGC to oblige to Protee's demands for new features. No matter how much Dennis pleads.

I think this is why TGC isn't advertised on the Swingsense website (very confusing BTW) because if TGC support is pulled from Protee there is no legal out lash.....(maybe?).

The sim market is still all messed up. TGC is great because the graphics are the best available but the software wasn't made with the intention of simulated play, so you're stuck with these problems.

No one would play Protee 2.0 after playing on TGC, so it's basically $2000 for TGC. Which for what you're getting, a video game, is ridiculously overpriced. But everything's overpriced.

      So it's certainly a pickle.
