Comprehensive Real Course List

I am attempting to create a comprehensive real course list. Thanks to those who have developed lists on the golf simulator forum, the golf club forum and TGC Tours forum I used them as a starting point. I have created the list in an excel file that is attached. I am asking for input from all players to help audit the accuracy and add all RCR's available. As we know TGC doesn't have the best course search feature. I looked up every course and added the yardages available. I also used the website top 100 golf courses to get the rankings as they rank thousands of courses, so you are not limited to the top 100 lists. I am planning on updating weekly or so, based on new information I receive.

I ran across a course I don't see on the list and wanted to add so maybe it'll get played. I'm not having any luck with the add button. The course is King's North at Myrtle Beach National. Arnold Palmer designed. Golf Digest 4.5 stars. Top 100 list Golf Digest 2004. Top 100 women friendly 1999. South Carolina golf course of the year 1997. Top ten upscale course 'Golf Digest' 1997.
The par-5 6th hole features an island fairway that offers a "risk-reward" shortcut to the green. A par-3 island green on the 12th hole. The par-4 finishing hole features 40 bunkers.

I just checked. All three are there. Make sure you are looking under course name not real course name.

When I search your courses on a PC where I got the game for design purpose I cannot find your courses. When I search courses in the SIM-PC I can see them.
Are all courses not available for both PC and SIM users?

Correct. Courses that are published on Steam software are playable across all types of gaming systems, including sim. Courses published on a Sim are only playable on a Sim.

Would it be possible for 91:an , or others to download that course for the Sim (and copy it over, or load it) into the Steam software version of TGC2019 and Publish it, just to get a handle on how it was designed, or to look at it / play it on Steam? I've not looked into that, but it seems that could be an option?

I have both versions as well (Steam and Sim), just do not yet have my Sim up and running, but I do have the computer with the Sim version of TGC2019 running on it. Others may be in the same situation.

You have to be the original publisher in order to have the course file. Or have the original publisher email you a copy of the course file.

jpotas - you cannot go to the Course directory in the Sim and copy the course file from there? Is there something wrong with that file that you need the original from the publisher?

Correct, you cannot download a course that somebody else published.

Harbor Links I’ve played and I think this is a pretty accurate recreation.It’s a tough course in real life. Hopefully it’s equally tough yet fair on the simulator. There is a recreation that was already done but it didn’t have all the tees. I never play a course that doesn’t have all the tees.
