Torrey Pines South Course - LiDAR - Now Published

Hi Guys,

Thanks for playtesting and giving feedback. I have now published the course as Torrey Pines South Course - LiDAR. Please give it a play once you have a chance. I have published it set at the time 4:30 pm as I think it looks nice with the sun towards the ocean. Please set it to noon if you prefer that lighting.

Played it today with a buddy - what an immaculate recreation! The fairways were accurately tight and the greens were insane just as they are in real life. Thanks for this one, Stephen - this was a lot of fun

Played the first 11 holes with a friend last night. Great job. A big improvement on the previous rendition IMO.

Those greens are brutal but fair. On hole 8 or 9 I chipped from the back of the green, rolled off the front, chipped back up, putted too hard and went off front of the green, chipped back up... just like my real life golf game.

Thanks for playing and feedback. Did you play the default settings? I played it a few times on the sim pre-publishing and felt the settings were pretty close to the way I usually play (not good, haha), but I haven't actually played South Course before so it would be good to know what settings are most accurate for this cours.

I played it on the default settings.

Never play the course in real life which is a shame. I went to UC-San Diego, but didn't pick up golf until later in life. I recall that they had some crazy deal for college students back then too, something like a $20 green fee.

The chip, putt, chip, putt sequence was totally on me and not the design. The 2 tier green was obvious and the moment I hit the chips and putt, I knew I screwed up.
