    TGC 2019 Match Play Tournament

    So, I’m going to set up a match play tournament for TGC 2019. I will look after the tournament if you guys are interested in playing. We could do 16-24-32 players and have a vote on which course we use for each round of the tournament. We will do what we have done in the past, you will have a week to arrange with whoever you are playing to get your match done. Play will start when we get 16-24-32 players or May 1st whichever comes first. I would like when you are playing for one guy to stream the match and post the link on here and Discord. If you want to play just respond to this post. Let me know your favorite course and what should be the Championship match course.

    LEO MODE and Brace33 Thanks for setting this up, it has been fun! What do you guys think about having our matches played on the TGC tour courses? I would like to play both the match play and the PGA championship at Bethpage this week. However, I don't think I have enough time to do both. For example if Shackattack and I played our match on the old TGC at Bethpage we could've killed two birds with one stone. Curious to your thoughts.

    Also, as the shittiest golfer in this tournament I would like to vote to keep the handicap rule in place...

          Just remember you should have been done this match on Wednesday May 15th so the sooner the better. The winner has to have next round played before May 23rd

            While playing until Sunday could be fine (although that's also eating up 3 days for your next potential opponent), please note the loser will not be able to participate in the double elimination losers bracket. If you want to participate in bracket c, you must let us know the loser by tonight. We are starting c bracket matches today until Monday.

            You guys can play separately, play 9 holes only, share scorecards, etc.

              Rule
              Rd.1 = White or Red Tees at Bethpage Black - Pga 19
              Rd.2 = Will announce soon
              Rd.3 = Will announce soon
              Green Speed = Moderate
              Green Firmness = Soft
              Terrain Firmness = Moderate
              Gimme Setting = 6ft (2yds)
              Pin Location = 3
              HCP applies 50%

              Days Running
              Due to us needing to catch up to play the winner on Bracket B, both players must complete each Rd. within 3 days. It starts as of May 16. If both players do not complete, they will both be eliminated. If one is available to play and plays a 18 hole and the other doesn't, the one who played will advance. Or both of you guys can negotiate and decide the winner (i.e. to speed up the game, you guys can play separately, 9 holes only, putting to On Green, share scorecards, etc.)

                  mikeingp I am mostly open. I am in EST and can play most evenings. I could do almost anytime Saturday and even tonight.

                I might have an issue getting to play. I emailed Protee on Wednesday about not seeing my name on the leaderboard for the tour. They emailed me a link to update my TGC version and unfortunately it wasn't the correct file. I got the correct file yesterday morning and I ended up having a corrupt file in during the download. I followed their trouble shooting suggestions and brought my gaming laptop to work with me hoping I can get TGC installed again...
