Left and right golfers at the same time, left shots are mirror image

The other day I had a friend over (lefty) and was playing a round with him. I had to put his profile as right handed otherwise his shot was mirror image to what it was supposed to be. Not a big deal, until you want to use camara offset. I'd like it to offset equally from centre line either side. If I set him up as a righty, the camara only offsets to my (righty) side.

Any ideas what's going on?

I'm using a gc2, and when he shoots the gc2 recognizes him as a left handed golfer.

If I set my player as left handed and move the launch monitor to the left side of the room the game reverses the spin. Its strange. Draws fade for lefty and fades draw. I told protee about it. I never had it happen because I always left the left handed player in right handed mode.

Mthunt, Yes....long time. Been testing GSA's new system..... My understanding is...… If the ball shapes left, it is a negative number. Same goes for direction. Positive numbers to the right. Regardless of dexterity, a shot shaping left has negative spin axis.... the only difference is the description in the club data. A left shaping shot is a fade for me whereas it's a draw for righties. Same with club path. My inside out swing would be described as a outside in if I were right handed. So, like I said my shot shape is good...… but it is listed incorrectly. Perhaps Martin still has that reversing SA feature still active in the GSA control panel.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I remember the same issue using the original TGC as well.

Don’t ask me why but it’s literally coded as draw vs fade spins, so you have to invert it for lefties.

It looks like we’re zero of 4 for getting it right so we’re in good company.

Protee was unable to replicate the issue. Doesn't sound like they will do anything for me. I'm going to update my interface and see if that does anything

I've updated the interface to 3.16t and the issue still exists. Sounds like I might me SOL

The direction is correct, the spin is the opposite when launched in tgc. Protee interface has the correct spin direction as well.

To me this is a tgc issue.

I just installed 3.16t and it stopped doing it. It was with 3.14 but is fine with 3.16t

To me this is a tgc issue.

This is in GSX, not TGC. It only happens if using a GC2. I’ll PM you.
