  • TGC2019 won’t work right

    Hey guys looking for some help here. I’ve had TGC2019 for a while now. However, my skytrak won’t let me play anything. I’ve tried reinstalling the program, but that hasn’t worked. My skytrak app works and I can hit golf balls on the driving range all day. When I exit out of the skytrak range and load up tgc19, I get two green lights and the top red light. Anyone else having the same issue and how did you resolve it?

    Having exactly the same problem. Tried a full re-install but no luck. Searching the web to see if anyone has had better luck. The range on Skytrak 5.0 works but not TGC 2019.

      I think I found a solution.

      Right click the "TGC Skytrak Interface" icon and "Run as Administrator" and when I went through the steps to start TGC 2019 I got the proper green lights on my Skytrak OG and the laser dot on the mat. Not sure why that worked as I am the sole user of my computer and therefore run it as an administrator account but this step seemed to solve the problem. The good thing is the administrator setting seems to stick and you only have to do it once. The next time you start the program you can just click the icon normally.

        Thanks for posting. I've been having the same issues with my Skytrak and grow more frustrated with each time for one issue or another. I was about to give up but found your post and tried it. Worked for me as well! As someone who works in software, this makes no sense to me but it did work so I'm just going to go with it. Thanks Dwayne28!

          Well, thought that resolved it but again having the same issue tonight. So frustrating. Can't get it to connect.

            I had the same problem. I contacted support and they said it was a known problem. Do the following:
            1. After starting the SkyTrak TGC interface and connecting the SkyTrak, disconnect the SkyTrak.
            2. Go to the Task Bar on the lower right and right click the SkyTrak application and select Exit Application.
            3. Restart the SkyTrak application, connect the SkyTrak and it should work when you Start a Game in TGC.

              Yep, this is a weird one, never seen it on a SkyTrak original or SkyTrak+ before, 2 x GREEN lights and 1 RED light once connected to TGC19 and unable to register a shot... Tried all the usual fixes (and it would happen both in NETWORK mode and DIRECT mode). After two remote sessions with TGC19 they confirmed this is a known issue and that this is the following fix, it works, but it is a bit messy:

              Every time you switch on the system (the PC) you need to follow these steps.

              Step 1- Connect SkyTrak+ using the "Skytrak TGC Interface" and once "Discovered" click the "Connect" button
              Step 2 - In next pop-up window click "Start Game"
              Step 3 - One you have started a new round of golf and are on the 1st tee, take a shot. If there is no red laser dot on the turf, or all 3 lights on the SkyTrak+ are not GREEN exit the game (press the ESC key on the keyboard to bring up the TGC19 menu and click on "Exit")
              Step 4 - "Disconnect" SkyTrak+ from the "Skytrak TGC Interface" and then close the application.
              Step 5 - Exit the TGC application from the taskbar tray (taskbar tray is ^ icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar, click on that and right click on the TGC19 icon and select "Exit Application")
              Step 6 - Now relaunch the game from "Skytrak TGC Interface"

              It does work every time... without it get the 2 x GREEN lights and 1 x RED light issue

                I think TGC and/or skytrak should work together to complete a software update. Why do we need to jump through hoops everytime they make changes. Somehow writing another line of code could have bypassed this. It was fun enough trying to get the skytrak update to work. lol

              Give Skytrak TGC interface version 1.2.0.2 a try. You can download it here: https://download.protee-united.com/s...tgcstsetup.exe
              Make sure you uncheck the TGC installation in the installer, otherwise it will reinstall TGC which will take a long time. Only update the Skytrak TGC interface.

                Anyone try this link? I downloaded from the link and I can’t get it to work. My interface still says 1.1.0.7

                  If you are one of our many players who uses TGC on a regular basis, you may have noticed an issue with connecting to the TGC Interface recently. This is due to a recent change behind the scenes.
