  • Uneekor EYE XO Sudden No Reads?

Having some issues all of the sudden with "no reads" from my Uneekor EYE XO. Here is my scenario:
    1. Since January of this year (and up until about 2 weeks ago), I can say that I never had a "no read" from my EYE XO.
    2. Suddenly two weeks ago, I start getting multiple mis-reads per round (GSPro). Most of the mis-reads are with a PW, but I've had them with every club in my bag.
    3. Anything in the left half of the hitting area (area closest to the golfer) creates an almost certain "no read".
    4. This is happening with every club in my bag, from Driver through SW, even on short pitches or chips.
I've tried doing multiple recalibrations, moved mats around, dimmed/added light, white/colored balls, and nothing seems to impact it. I've physically checked my EYE XO and nothing is loose or visibly damaged. I'm at a loss at to what is happening.

I have uploaded all the images I can think to add, and here are two YouTube links to me hitting a wedge (regular speed and slow mo) that gives a no read.

I’ve been having a fair number of no reads, but I kind accepted it after a while. The most common scenario is with a Fiberbuilt mat and my wife hitting a SW. Duffing seems to create picture data the EyeXO can’t handle. Switching to a firmer mat helped a lot. I will get times when it seems to get stuck on a particular shot (especially chips) and needs to reset itself with a different (full iron) shot.

I’ve had the same problem in the same area. At first thought it was do to hitting next shot too quickly, not the case. I have both fiberbuilt grass series and performance series and it’s the same on both. Recalibration hasn’t worked to solve any of it. I’m starting to regret this decision a lot here lately as it’s been more and more of a buggy deal. First is with rightward spin, Uneekor says we don’t calibrate compared to other units, that’s not an excuse of why the right spin is 400-600 greater than foresight, then they fix it in next revision, instead of just admitting it’s messed up. Then it’s the type of club, this is just one more thing in a line of bugs. Anyway did you get an answer to you question from uneekor support? I would love for them to just take a look or give some general solutions as I don’t work from home so team viewer always sucks

hardly the thread you want to come across before rushing to take advantage of the current sale! geez. I have a fiberbuilt mat and I can totally see how the brush type material screws with launch monitors more than a harder mat does. dont know what to do.

A cc elite insert only cost me about $75, I see them at Amazon for $70 right now.

Interesting thread regarding misreads and mats. My CCE mat has so many misreads with SkyTrak that I am on this thread researching replacing the SkyTrak with the Uneekor Ey XO. Yesterday I installed a new Fibrebuilt Preferred insert into the CCE. The CCE has played havoc with my elbows and created some very painful tendinitis. I have not played on the insert to see if misreads increased or decreased, but I would definitely be wary of the CCE regarding injury.
