Launcher 2.0 and View won't start anymore

After summer break I went through all updates (windows and uneekor) also with the new launcher..

Gspro works
Launcher works
Third party works
But view won’t start

Error: something went wrong try again

Already reinstalled and uninstalled/ installed view again, restartet computer - no luck !
All software (including windows / netframework etc.) up to date
Also tried the button to set all the firewall settings in launcher, and changed default settings for screen in the view sections to windows / other display etc.
No antivirus installed except windows defender

What can I do?
Reinstaller Launcher as well? (Will I loose calibration then?)

I couldn't find the forum message, but someone recently posted a message saying he had to manually re-install some of the microsoft re-distributable libraries.

I updated View today, and it worked fine for me. These are the MS library versions I have (Windows 10):

All but the last 6 were updated within the last two months of this year. The last 6 were updated a year or two ago.

You can compare vs what you have by going to "Control Panel -> Program and Features"

google "MS Visual C++ redistributables" to find the Microsoft web page to download from.

This issue was causing my launcher to not actually launch. Finally found a spot in the computer to allow all these updates and it works.
