Just finished building out my golf suite in my garage. Thanks for all the tips and tricks I have learned on this site. Have some things I want to upgrade. Better turf eventually. Add a screen and projector. Seems like a never-ending project but I think I am off to a good start. I am a IT engineer and started playing golf about 3 months ago and then realized the tech side to the sport and I was all in with a SIM. Luckily the former homeowners put a mini split in the garage, not sure I would have done it otherwise. I am only using the Skytrax software. I tried GSPro for a couple days, but it was a bit buggy, so I got a refund and just went with the course upgrade on the Skytrax. For a new guy to the game, it is more than enough for me.
Did exercise mats on the floor with 3 rolls of Home Depot cheap tuff flooring. Was only $24 a roll and was much prettier than my hideous garage floor. Also added a divot action mat I found on Amazon. The ball dispenser is fun too.
Had to build a shed out back to free up the 3rd car garage bay.
Luckily my son had a old gaming laptop laying around I was able to swipe from him so saved some big money there.
I need to go thru and tally up all my costs so far.
