Has anyone tried the new swing video capture ap?. It looks like it uses the eagle cameras recording at 250 fps. I wouldn't mind being able to drop my swing catalyst software subscription. It seems like an attractive prospect. But like everything else gas related, I'm less than convinced it will resemble a finished product.

I have the blackfly usb3 cameras. And these cameras are great but they are just collecting dust right now because I was sick of paying swing catalyst 50/month for swing cat software which very flawed and it didn't seem like they could get it together and improve the app. If you know of some quality alternatives, I'd love to hear about them.

OBS and Kinovea are popular free options. They take a little work to setup and I'm not sure if the blackfly cameras work. I just got a couple of blackfly gige-04 cameras and neither software recognized them out of the box. I haven't spent much time trying to figure it out yet and flir.com mentions OBS, so I'm hoping I just need to find the right drivers.
