If ProTee charged like Foresight...

    If ProTee charged like Foresight...

    As I was considering buying a new course from Foresight and was balking at the $150 price tag for a single course, I felt all warm and fuzzy in the knowledge that I had recently become part of the TGC community... How awesome is it to have over 150,000 courses!!!?That's so cool!

    Of course, if ProTee decides to charge like Foresight, I will owe them in the vicinity of 150000 x $150 = TWENTY THREE MILLION DOLLARS!!!

    I haven't checked my account recently, but I might have to pay that in installments.

    To be fair to Foresight, 149000 courses are no good so your number should be 1000x150. Lol

      @ keither5150, I was trying to build one of the local courses I play on, after fighting back and forth trying to get the two lakes (one above the other) Just right I found the clubhouse was missing, I think I now know what happened to it.

      Like you never buried a clubhouse. I have to admit that it is not as easy as it looks. The top designers do a great job. It is a lot of fun learning the ropes. Thanks for the advice. I am concentrating on building one good hole and then I will go from there. My green was terrible. It took me 4 putts from inside of 10 feet. I had the cup right on a break. So the ball kept rolling back to me...… not quite ready for the tour. I sent a picture of the first hole to a buddy that I play with and he knew right away which course it was.....so I have that going for me.

    mthunt still has the greatest range in TGC. IMHO of course. gnomike has been schooled recently. :-)

      I agree lol. I’m not sure if people know this but hole 1 on rewind has a green and pin every 10 yards to 250. The line down the middle is for accuracy practice with driver. To the right is a chipping green and holes 2-9 are a putting course set at standard speed. I’ll update it for 2019.

        What is your range called again? @Tripplebogeysarebetter "took" me there to show me some basics, but now that I'm all growed up I think I want to go by myself to practice...

        "2017 mthunt" brings it right up. I have been trying to use it a bit, with my computer setup back in the house I can do a little putting, but that is it. I think I am getting interference from the other systems or something, one or two putts and I have to restart the game the GC2 shows the shot the ProTee interface shows it and GSX shows it but nothing on TGC. Was having the same problems in FSX 2018 on the putting course, so not going to worry about it till I get back out in the sims room.

        Did you try a USB extension cable to get the dongle closer?

      mthunt can you use your magic skills and make it an official TGC range? I bet if everyone tried it they would agree. It’s hard to top. It’s where I practice to beat down Daddio on our weekly rounds.

      I can vouch for mthunt's range.....new 2017 mthunt range. I usually hit one to the center and then turn on autorewind. You are then surrounded by greens for short game practice.

        Yeah, Mthunt's range is awesome. I think that there is about 8 or 9 greens. All of various sizes with different pin locations. I am not sure if the bunkers act like fairway or greenside bunkers. It is my favorite range for sure.

      Easter Egg!
      Hit it on the right spot and a wob will carry 65, but roll 270. I've almost hole it twice with a 60.

        mthunt I have an internal card with an antenna, have tried it in all different positions. Windows 10 just did an update and may have reset some of my settings, I am checking on that.

          I very well may do that myself, I have a copy of XP-Pro around here some where I may give that a try I know it worked well when I was at the Truss plant. Was running large format scanners and printer, plotters, digitizers, and all without any problems. If nothing else I know I have several copies of Windows 7.

          I can’t remember what I had but one night it upgraded on its own. I must have ok’d it somewhere. What a nightmare.

          The way windows 10 is now setup you don't have a choice it updates on it's own.
