  • Need to confirm: GC2 is compatible with 2016 TGC?

Not sure if this is accurate based on what I've seen through other posts, but....

I was on swingsense.com (protee procurement site) this morning and saw under the TGC 2016 software ($995.00) that is says "PLEASE NOTE: This software is NOT compatible with Foresight GC2."

    Here's the link:

Just want to confirm if I purchase the TGC software that it comes with Protee and GSX interface so that I can follow the zmax directions to link my GC2. Wanting to avoid the $3000 FSX software for now due to costs.

    Thanks!

Probably just a legal disclaimer, or else a lot of us with GC2/TGC setups that do play are doing something wrong........................................still worked fine this morning

I got a new GC2 just a few weeks ago and had it set up with TGC in a matter of minutes. You can't go wrong. Enjoy!

How long after purchasing does the email come through with download instructions, etc.?

Been 2 business days and still no download link for TGC (through Par2Pro). Anyone know how long it takes?

Going to buy a GC2 and want to playTGC. I got a quote for ProTee 2.0 and TGC for 1790.00 plus SDK license fee for 1025.00. Is this fee required for TGC to work on the GC2?
I was told if I bought the FXS software the SKD fee was not required? Is this true?

What does the GSX inteface do? Does that connect to the bluetooth dongle?

Foresight added a tax they call sdk. A lot of people buy the GC2 but software like TGC are way cheaper than FSX. Foresight is trying to pull money. The sdk does nothing and is actually nothing but a tax.

Buy the GC2 directly from Foresight and tell them you only want to use it with the Performance Fitting app on the iPad and you're holding off on purchasing FSX for now. That way they won't bring up and SDK fee. not sure about third party vendors who sell the unit. Then head to Par2Pro and buy TGC for $999 and you will get protee 2.0 with it, but TGC is all you need. Amazing game.

GSX comes along with TGC when you buy it. It allows the protee interface to read the GC2 as well as allows you to adjust settings. Hope this helps!
