    Caledonia Plantation

    Has anyone tried to play Caledonia Plantation? A real life favorite of mine (Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, Pawleys Island, SC). Through the first 5 holes the layout is very accurate however the green are absolutely brutal with false fronts and backs, the worst I've ever seen, actually on hole number 5 where I quit, the pin is in a 3 yard area, if you're short of that you roll back off the front and if you're long of that you roll off the back. What a shame though because there seems to have been a great deal of work put into this course.

    I did end up making it through 18, took me 10 chips shots to get it to stay on number 5, but did push through, layout wise this course is a 10... if only something could be done about the greens..

      I'll check it out. I played it earlier this summer. Great course, I enjoyed it a lot more than True Blue.

        True Blue is fun, but I'd agree Caledonia the better of the two.

        Yes too bad the greens couldn't be smoothed out, because otherwise I really enjoyed the course.

      I've played Caledonia a few times. Great course! Have any of u guys played Pawleys Plantation? Wish someone would make it for TGC.

          13-18 @ Pawleys is a great set of holes. Especially from golden bear tees.

            Caledonia is one of my all time favorite courses especially in the spring! Tough course!
