does anyone here from australia know what courses are in victoria .... melbourne replica's? I've done a search and either I'm useless or there isn't a lot there.

On hb studios. There is also discussion on how to use it for elevation. I plan to use Course maps and if there is a flyover available . I plan to use all resources available. The feature I was not aware of in google maps is the measuring lines which can translate to the course designer measuring lines. I was also not aware of the terrain feature in regards to elevation.

What google earth tutorial? A huge asset to design is a real flyover.

This google earth tutorial has me intrigued. One of my New Years resolutions is to design a good real course re-creation this year. Thinking about broadmoor east since it's local and I love it. Not sure if it's still top 100 but has been.

Concede and scout is the only way.

While I am asking about designing, Is it only the original designer who can make changes to a design? In other words, If you had a design could I get the "file" and changes the tee boxes or hole positions?

A large percentage of those should have Protee versions as well. Ks-man's list is a good place to cross reference. I still use his the most.

This database is a decent starting point if you're wanting to weed out the poorly made recreations. All of these are considered well done, especially those that they officially use on the console/PC tours. You'll find a lot of Top 100 courses on this list.

started a topic Golf Digest Top 100 Courses

    Golf Digest Top 100 Courses

I was taking a look at the Golf Digest Top 100 list for 2017 and wondered how many of these Top 100 courses we have on TGC. I know we have a good number of them. Then I wondered well I know some of these have more than one rendition. Has anyone looked at the Top 100 and come up with where or not these are available on TGC and if so which one is the best or best 2-3 I know best is subjective.
Working...
