First post from a long time reader!
I have a room with the above dimensions that the wife has agreed can be a completely dedicated simulator space! I'm pretty pumped, but first thing's first:
Based on these dimensions (16' x 14' x 12'), I'm trying to determine 1) the optimal screen size and 2) the simulator - Mevo+ or SkyTrak.
1) For screen size, if I went with HD (16:9) and left a 1' space from each wall, a 12'-wide screen would be 6.75' high. If anyone has a similar size, is it immersive for you? Would 4:3 be more encompassing or is sacrificing that picture quality not worth it?
2) For the simulator, I'd really prefer Mevo+ as I'd also use it on the range and there's no annual sub. However, I don't know if I'm at the very edge of the minimum distance specs for it when accounting for a 6-12" buffer behind the screen. Does anyone game a Mevo+ around this room length? I'd love to get your thoughts.
If it matters:
Thanks for any help with either question!

If it matters:
- Budget is ~$3,000 for screen and simulator together.
- Screen will most likely be ordered from Carl's Place.
