Just purchased a 16’ Manual Roll Up Screen. This is a Hocky Screen that is normally mounted in front of Garage door just a few inches away and prevents dings/dents etc. have read where people add an impact screen with Velcro to enable roll up of both screen and net. Question I have is how far from wall/Window does Screen need to be mounted to be effective with golf balls? Normal mount is only 2-5 inches away. Anyone with experience with this item? I’m planning on covering the window with Removable plywood sheet as it will be behind left end of hitting area and just want to know how far I must mount the screen for it to be effective. The impact screen has a bar in pocket on lower end to provide tension.
