Getting started with a retractable simulator for a garage simulator in Michigan. Going to go with a 14' x 10' stealth screen from Par2Pro so we can still park a car in the garage. We have a 3" high x 33" deep cement ledge across the back of the garage and I need to decide whether to mount the screen in front of the ledge or not. If it gets mounted in front of the ledge, there will be 8' throw distance from where the projector will have to sit in order for it not to be in the way of the garage door opener. If it goes above the ledge, I'll have just shy of 11', which would likely make the projection a bit easier. I'd then have to use some memory foam in front of the lip to avoid bounce back. The only problem I see with it going above the ledge is the stealth screen would not sit flush to the floor. I could always rig something up to stop the screens at the level of the cement ledge and then have some type of fabric attached to side protection beyond that point to reach the ground. I've attached a couple pictures. Has anyone else dealt with this in their garage setup? Any suggestions appreciated.
