I am in the process of designing a house. We will hopefully start construction late this year or early next. I am building a detached shop/garage that will include a simulator. I want to purpose build part of the space for a sim, but it will also need to accommodate a lawnmower, utv, and bicycles. I also tinker with equipment and have some tool chests so having a shop area is important too. I want to keep the sim space clean and not junked up with garage debris. I gave my architect the dimensions of 25' long, 16' wide, 11' tall. Does anyone have examples of a dedicated, nice sim space with seating that also serves as a shop/garage area?
I own a GC Quad so I will be using that. I have talked to Foresight about the design and they charge an $800 consultation fee to design the space and work with my architect and builder. Have any of you guys used that service?
