Hello! This is my first post. My dream is to have a SIM in my house but unfortunately, I don't have a single ceiling over 8', including the garage, and buying a new house with higher ceilings for a Golf SIM isn't in my wife's plans...LOL. So, I'm looking at using my side-yard, which gives me 14' width by 25' length/depth. Our HOA Gestapo doesn't allow me to build an enclosure.
HAS ANYONE ever tried setting up an outdoor SIM with an Enclosure and a ground projector. I totally understand there will be some sunlight issues (mostly ambient light) but REALLY REALLY HOPING someone here has tried it or seen it because I REALLY don't want to use a Net with an adjacent TV/iPad. I live in Sacramento, so the weather is fairly benign with the exception of extreme heat in the summer and rain about 10-14 days in the winter/spring.
