We recently purchased the Foresight Sim in a Box kit. The impact screen that was included is 10'-10"x8'-4" - actual screen size is 120"x90" ish. We are looking into ceiling mounting the projector but according to the specs of what's included, screen size as well, its looking like we are not going to be able to do this without casting shadows from our heads.
I'm beginning to think the screen size, with surround wing walls/ ceiling is negatively impacting the ability to ceiling mount any projector at a reasonable height.
Does anyone here have a similar setup? Did you swap out the projector for something with a shorter throw? We don't have ceilings here, it's in a warehouse, wed add the necessary framing and outriggers for the "ceiling mount".
At the end of the day, we are willing to sell the included projector for one that suits our wants. Just need to figure this out first.
