After a bit of planning and budgeting, I started my garage build this weekend. I got everything cleaned up and cleared out, now there's ample room for golfing activities!
I've got a screen coming from Chip at Spectrum Golf and found a good deal on a Benq mw632st projector.
Yesterday I worked on tidying up the ceiling area and put down 1/2" foam tiles on the floor. I just got down doing some carpet padding and Advantage green turf from Home Depot.
Hitting mat is also diy, but has worked well the past couple months hitting into a net in the back yard.
Still looking for a good deal on a Garmin r10. Lots for sale, but they're still going out of budget.
Plan is to hang the screen and side curtains from the ceiling and roll them up when not in use. I looked at motorized retractable cages, and while they were a decent price, I couldn't spend 2k for them. (METech, if you're curious) I'm doing them diy on a budget, but they'll work and shouldn't take me long to unroll them and start hitting.
Looking forward to working on this project over the next few weeks and will love to hit balls all winter long!
