This is a bit of a niche question. I have the putting turf elite, which I love. Also, I build my own hitting area so I am not interested in buying a hitting mat. With that being said, I noticed that the TFD Putting Elite is great for putting, but grabs a bit as a hitting mat. For instance, I would say it is very similar to playing in wet conditions where if you hit the ball a touch fat, it will penalize you more than normal. While this has actually got me striking the ball first (which is a GREAT thing!), I still want my SIM to be as realistic as possible. Does anyone know of any turfs that make a great hitting mat?
