Room is 12'3" wide, 21' long, 8'9" where the vaulted ceiling starts go go up. So, I could go as high as 9' on an enclosure if I move in 3" from the back and sides, which I would do anyway.
The other variable is the platform you see in the middle of the room is 8" tall and sits at 12' from where the screen would be. So, I see two options. 1) take out the platform or 2) Extend the platform going forward to the front of the room, which would add 8-10" up, so I could then get an 8' tall enclosure.
If I build up, I can revert the room later to a media room if I care to. If I remove the platform, that's a permanent move in effect.
I'm leaning towards removing the platform and redoing the entire room.
I also thought about a drop down option vs. using Bullseye (current thought process for enclosure), and saving the media room, but that's just complicating the outcome. We don't use the media room anymore - kids grown.
