  • Garage Simulator - Pivoting Floor Build

I have a large simulator (Full Swing 2.0) that I am looking to setup in my garage, but I would like create a pivoting floor so that the carpet and base platform don't take up too much room and still allow me to park a car inside. Has anyone on this blog figured out a way to either pivot their floor like a drawbridge or lift it in some way to store it? Any help would be appreciated!

You can simply place a tarp over the hitting mat and just park your car as normal. My mat is a real feel elite with a Fiberbuilt hitting strip.

Parking the car on it doesn't effect the mat nap at all. If you car doesn't leak fluids you can skip the tarp providing the tires are not hot enough to melt the mat fibers when parking. Unless you do burn outs prior toe parking there should be no problem. I have parked a SUV a c7 Z06 corvette and a Bmw m850i without problems except for the Corvette which leaked fluid from the exhaust weep holes, therefore the tarp.
