Hi All,
I am going to be traveling to the UK in mid-May and am planning a few rounds of golf while I am there. At the moment, I have tee times for Kingsbarns, Dumbarnie, St. Andrews New Course, and Jubilee. I will have about 1-2 weeks before these rounds so am considering visiting Ireland and trying to play a few courses there, on to London, and then driving up to St. Andrews and hopefully playing a course or two on the way. I am also trying to figure out how to get a tee time for the Old Course but guess I will have to try my luck with the ballot or camp out overnight to try to get on as a single. Any advice?
Does anyone here from these countries have any recommendations on courses to play, itineraries, or inexpensive places to stay? It is going to be a rather long trip including Madrid and Copenhagen so need to find some reasonable accommodations.
It will be my first time in the UK so any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Stephen
