Wow, you got a new Opti for $199. That's an awesome deal! Yeah, if you are limited on width then this is the best solution I could come up with for both lefty/righty players.

Madspeed, Great idea with the dual sensors. I wish I would have read this earlier because my room is also tight. Can you take a close-up picture of your club rack on the right side wall and post it? I need to build something and am looking for ideas for my room. I have built in shelves on the left side already and am not really interested in cutting them to make a rack and like you I have a bare spot on the right side wall.

So I just built a simulator because... there is not much else to do right now. I converted all lights in the basement to LEDs. Sometimes the black taped drivers with a white electrical tape would still blank 2-3 times during the 15 swing calibration. I put a $13 5W LED landscape light on top of the cage, and we are at 100% no missed swings now. Used a 1” off road light mount worked perfect with the 1” EMT tubing. Highly recommend a spot light on the swing pad. Makes a big difference.

I use the system with about 6 lights(all LED) in view + spotlight, or just one above/behind swing pad (7W LED ceiling fan) + spotlight. The two lights on are how the picture is taken. Both work flawlessly.

I'm working on mine too because I don't trust my results. Too many fairways hit with the driver.. haha
I have a LED bulb on the ceiling just above the mat and I don´t know if its enough. Maybe I can add one more like you.

The 5W landscape light is key. Got it off Amazon for $13. It is the Lemonbest LED landscape. Unlike a lot of the other landscape lights that require transformers or electrical hardwiring, it’s just a standard 110 plug. So super easy. I did mount it dead center over the pad and it shines at about a 35 degree angle towards it. I have a LED high hat almost directly over the pad but I think the body blocks some of the light during a swing. So this keeps it accurate. Hope this helps!
