I am assuming due to the multiple posts over the years about the power cord on Skytrak that someone will have already experienced this but my mini usb port broke off the other day while trying to get my unit to charge. I had to send it in to Skytrak so I guess we will see what the damage is. Anyone have to go through this? Was it a quick turnaround? Any idea what kind of cost I'm looking at?
I'm hoping it's going to be a couple hundred but I'm guessing I'll be way off. Just not excited to drop a big percentage of the total cost of the unit on fixing it since this is obviously a component they underestimated in the first place. I'm pretty sure my usb port was touchy within the first few months of ownership and probably should have sent it in while under warranty. Just curious what everyone else thinks.
