Hey everyone, new here and trying to get started for the winter. I'm really struggling with putting on my Skytrak. My putts are picked up no more that 25% of the time. The red dot often disappears but it doesn't register and comes back on. when it does work, I've had some crazy puts. For example, 60ft away and don't think I hit it that hard and it goes 40 feet past. It's hard to accidentally hit a 100ft putt, haha. That being said, I can hit a ball fairly similar and it goes the right distance the next putt.
I've tried everything that has been suggested. I have a light on in the room, I have a desk light shining directly on top too. I have placed the ball everywhere, from 2" in front to 6" behind the red dot. Face the ball to the machine. Good background, etc. I used all the recommended settings:
Green Stimp: 6
Green Softness: 1
Green Speed: 3
High Spin Shot Correction: OFF
Straight Put Patch: ON
I do NOT have a matt that extends to my screen, but it has about 2 feet past the red dot before it rolls off onto the floor, could that be it?
This is disappointing.
On a similar note... does anyone recommend a good "not-putt" league???
