With Covid and winter a golfing buddy and I started playing E6 online. We have noticed that the system does not always show the same distances remaining on putts (a variance as much as 20 feet or more). Weird and frustrating given the cost of the software. But even stranger, as we were finishing up a tight match, his copy of the scorecard showed my score one stoke higher on the fourth hole than my scorecard showed?? I thought this would correct itself when we finished the match, but no, our scorecards did not match. His showed my total one stroke higher than mine.
We did notice that my distances always looked correct to him, but his distances rarely looked the correct on my system. I had hosted the game so we thought this might be the reason (we will try again with him hosting and see if it makes a difference).
My question to the group: are these sorts of errors normal for E6 Connect online? Our connection was fine and never dropped or struggled. I am getting used to the putting being just plain wonky, but I think the score cards should agree.
