Thank you very much for taking the time to analyze my swing. Sorry the video quality wasn't great, just an iPhone.
Anyway, you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I play a push draw as my stock shot which does indeed lead to the occasional block or snap hook. On good ballstriking days I'm a threat to shoot around even par but when timing is off I can end up in the low 80's. Thin shots are my nemesis due to my shallow angle of attack, couldn't tell you the last time I truly chunked a shot.
I use to play a ton of golf and peaked at a 3 index, I'd guess I'm in the 6-8 range now but I don't keep a real handicap anymore. Took a couple years off from golf entirely and got started again a few months ago.
Setting up my simulator has been very helpful and I've been working on trying to get a steeper angle my practicing hitting fade shots which are improving immensely. I chose to just send my stock swing instead of my fade swing, it's kinda forced at this point and needs more work.
I'll definitely take your advice about my right elbow and also work with an impact bag. Thanks again, I truly appreciate the time you took to do this
