  • Camera mounts/housing ideas

Please post info on your camera mounts/housings, etc. Also include pics and links to purchase if available. Thanks.

    Here's an example:

    H-cam mount: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Adjustable-Mounting-Installation-Surveillance/dp/B001D49TU4/ref=pd_sim_sbs_b_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1CM2RSSFMCGGPS1T6AW2

    Requires a tripod adapter: http://www.ptgreystore.com/tripod-mount-adapter-acc-01-0003

    V-cam housing:
    http://www.amazon.com/Mitaki-Japan-Security-Blinking-Enclosure-Housing/dp/B005OQ22BK/ref=sr_1_110?ie=UTF8&qid=1392853747&sr=8-110&keywords=security+camera+housing

Note: some modifications will be needed at the back to allow for the USB cable. Also, to make the camera sit lower to the floor, you can cut a few inches off the post and then make a new hole for the mount. Thick double sided tape can be used to attach the camera to the housing.

Great idea! My setup is homemade. Got the stuff from the Local Hardware Store an modified it.
