Hi All
Can anyone suggest an inexpensive global shutter camera and lens that would be suitable for use with Kinovea? I made the mistake of buying cameras that were not global shutter the 1st time, and I don't wish to throw more money away due to my ignorance on the topic.
I am currently considering these cameras with a 2.5mm or 2.8mm lens

I have lots of space for the FO camera, but my DTL camera is limited (ideally) to 7' from lens to ball, I could use more, but it puts the camera in a higher traffic area, I currently use a 2.8mm lens on the cameras I have and 8' seems to be the sweet spot for FOV if I rotate the camera 90°, will a 2.5mm allow me to place the camera a foot closer? Will it cause too much distortion?
Or is it worth getting rid of the distortion and going to a 3.6mm lens and using more space, and is 11' enough for DTL? I know a lot of this is personal choice, but without having the experience, it's hard to make an educated choice.
I should mention I have excellent lighting, I am using 4 33w (250w equivalent) Satco floodlights 2 angled to FO and 2 angled to DTL, I was hoping by adding better light the cameras I have would be clearer, but they are not... no more flickering at least.
Thanks for any advice you can share.
