So my very cool wife ordered me a sim equipment for my birthday (over 10 days ago). I have been chomping at the bit to dive into this sim universe.
Ten days later
The Skytrak never made it to me because UPS was given wrong zip code and so it was returned to sender. Spoke to seller and they will resend to proper address.The HomeCourse never made it to me as it somehow it got damaged during delivery and it was returned back to sender by the delivery company (Fed Ex I think). According to the seller they are out of stock and when they contacted HomeCourse to see if they could ship a unit to me they too were out of stock. Seems as if HomeCourse are no longer carrying this unit as they are working on an improved design with better materials. This newer design will not be ready for shipping until August. The seller has offered to cancel order for HomeCourse or ship the newer version when it comes out at no additional cost.
My question to community is anybody aware of a new HomeCourse Pro design? I see no mention of it on company website. Would you wait it out and see what happens or would you cancel and move on? Welcome any thoughts.
As for the projector, it's expected to arrive tomorrow (fingers crossed).
