I would like to find out if anyone has had problems or experience with using square steel tubing vs (what seems to be the standard EMT type) round steel tubing for mounting an unfinished impact screen.
I have ordered a Par2Pro SQ unfinished screen that is going to be mounted using tarp clamps and ball bungees. (The screen is hopefully the only thing that I need to import for my build as delivery charges and customs for South Africa easily doubles the price.)
I am planning on using these plastic fittings to construct my screen and surrounding cage but the system does not have all the appropriate connector types for me to be able to use the round tubing as required. Their square 25mm (1inch) square tubing system has adjustable angle connectors that I need to use as well as wall and floor mounting brackets which do not exist for the round tubing version. I can get these fittings locally, they are very inexpensive and pretty straight forward for a non-DIY expert like me to use but I will have to use the square tubing.
