Hey guys I purchase Carl's Premium impact screen Jan of 2020 so have had about (16 months of good use). I recently noticed a decent sized tear on the top right corner where the screen meets the velcro flap. I know the screen itself is good quality as it has not torn but wondering why the connected areas are ripping already within just over a year.
Carls Place reply to me was:
"You can try to have the screen repaired locally through an upholstery shop, or possibly by a seamstress or tailor. At this time due to the amount of time that has elapsed since your order we are unable to offer any repairs or replacements."
Anyone had this same issue and what did they did they do to replace it? Basically does it need to be restitched or will that end up only ripping again.? It would be a huge hassle to take the entire screen off to get this stitched back however I would do this if this is ideal solution.
If I can keep hitting with this tear indefinitely without impacting performance of my screen I would rather do that as a short term solution as the tear is not exposed.
