I am building a golf simulator to get me through the cold Norwegian winter. The only piece of the puzzle left is an impact screen. Due to this being a very small market in Norway, it looks like I'll have to construct one from scratch, or order a custom made screen, but not something made for golf balls per say. I have already been in touch with a couple of different businesses. One offers the PVC covered variant, like a heavy duty tarp, and the other offers a variety of fabrics. What would you guys recommend in terms of fabric? My worry about the PVC-tarp is the visuals from the projector. My worry about any other kind of fabric is the durability.
Ordering from outside of Norway is pretty much out of the question as it adds a ton of cost both in shipping and import taxes.
I've read through multiple threads both here and elsewhere, but it's mostly just links to products that don't necessarily go into any great depths what they're actually made of.
