I'm looking to get a larger backyard screen for movies and golf. Due to furniture configuration and for safety the mat will be closer to the screen and project in 4:3. Theater projection will be 16:9 so in both cases there will be overflow of unused, white, reflective screen material. Golf will be about 9' H X 5' W while theater will be 8' H X 14' W. Can anyone tell me if this will washout or degrade the projected images at all? Is it a must to have the screen border with a uniform, dark contrast? If so, I'll definitely find ways to project the golf in 16:9 as well. Also, can anyone tell me if all three levels of screens on Carl's allow audio to pass through from behind the screen? Any one better suited?
