Hey everyone, thanks for all the great info in this forum!
We are building a golf sim that will be a kids play room for 90% of the time. We have discussed two options for flooring - the first we would just put in normal carpet with a softer underlay, and then I would pull out a hitting mat when it’s sim time. The downside to this is putting, I would have to make a custom mat or put off of the main mat which isn’t ideal. Second option would be full turf, with an area I would pull up and put a real hitting mat in when we wanted to play.
If we went with turf we would need something that would be soft on your bare feet/knees and good for mini sticks, soccer etc with the kids. Something that wouldn’t give you rug burn easily…
Does anyone have any experience with this kind of product?
Thanks!
