Thinking about upgrading my projector from an Optoma 1080GT to something else. It's always looked dark and now I realize why. It has much lower color light output rating vs other projectors. Potentially looking to buy a used XGA or WXGA large venue projector off eBay with 4000 to 6000 light output. Question is for those that have located projectors behind the lights for a protee system and the impact of the protee halogen lights running in perpendicular direction on the projected image if any? I would like to stay ceiling mounted.
